Weather

The Blakeney Harbour Association has now re-located its weather station from Blakeney Quay to the top of the South Sands beacon on the South side of the harbour, opposite the Old Lifeboat House. This is a very exposed position which enables the weather station to record wind strength and direction without any interference from the surroundings. The purchase of this equipment has been funded by a generous donation from a BHA member.

The information from this weather station - see live feeds and forecast below - relates to wind direction, wind speed, and temperature, both current and historical. The full range of data can be accessed online from either: Holfuy or Windguru. For forecast information, use Windguru

Grateful thanks to BHA volunteers John Walton and Henry Archer for installing and commissioning the weather station, with assistance from Peter Roe and Zak Henderson.

The BHA has maintained, preserved and protected the harbour voluntarily for over fifty years.
