MISSING PORT HAND NAVIGATION LIGHT – BLAKENEY LOWER HARBOUR

MISSING PORT HAND NAVIGATION LIGHT – BLAKENEY LOWER HARBOUR

The red flashing light has recently been swept off the BHA No. 3 port hand Channel entrance buoy in Blakeney Lower Harbour.

We believe this light may have been washed ashore somewhere along the beach at the West end of Blakeney Point.

If anyone is walking in this area and finds this light ( which may still be flashing in darkness), could they please return it to BHA?

The light is approx  300mm high x 150mm x 150mm, and made of white plastic with small solar panels built into it.

If any vessel is entering the harbour at night and sees a red flashing light on, or near the beach, to the East, could they please report this to BHA asap.

Thank you.
